About ISNM
Indian Society of Nanomedicine (ISNM) is a non-profitable academic society registered in 2015.
ISNM was created with a mission of developing a common platform for doctors, engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs interested in exploring application of nanotechnology for patient care and other areas related to Biomedical Science.
Proper realisation of the tremendous progress and potentials of nanomedicine is a great challenge which needs active collaboration of every specialty of science, medicine, engineering, and business community.
OUR
Mission
Indian Society of Nanomedicine (ISNM) aims at :
- Creating an interdisciplinary platform for interaction of scientists, medical doctors, engineers, biologists, chemists, pharmacologists, physicists, entrepreneur sand many others from unrelated areas for initiating fruitful collaboration to achieve the same goal.
- Coordinate among the innovators, regulatory bodies, commercial agencies, patients, general public and other stake holders for enhancing the translation of ideas from bench to bed site.
What We Do?
- To play a catalytic role providing interdisciplinary interactive platform bridging the gap between industry and academia
- To enhance the path of translation of innovative application of nanotechnology in all aspects of health and patient care.
- Evaluation of safety issues of nanosystem for human use as well as for the environment needs systematic exploration.
- Encourage in developing multidisciplinary training and knowledge exchange platforms enhancing regulatory research in India.
- Fostering an international community of nanotechnology by promoting interaction among researchers from different disciplines including but not limited to chemistry, physics, medicine, and engineering while cultivating a community of thought leaders in the field.
- Educating students and the public by promoting nanotechnology literacy of students at all levels, and by providing a respected and authoritative voice on nanotechnology issues that are increasingly in the public eye.
