Stimulant for Workshop
Exosomes have received significant attention for their role in pathobiological processes and are being explored as a tool for disease diagnosis and management. Exosomes contain proteins, lipids, and RNAs that are specific to their cell origin and could deliver cargo to both nearby and distant cells. As a result, investigation of exosome cargo contents could offer opportunities for disease detection and treatment. Despite significant efforts made in this relatively new field of research, progress has been held back by challenges such as inefficient separation methods, difficulties in characterization, and lack of specific knowledge for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
ExoTECH Workshop
ExoTech will include presentations from distinguished national and international leaders and researchers in the field in exosome. The meeting will showcase past achievement and future potentials and discoveries that will further impact the field of exosome research. This will be achieved by a balanced scientific program and with deliberations on state-of-the-art methodological developments and their applications in exosome biology.
Topics covered at ExoTECH will examine following aspects of exosome:
- Physiological insights and roles of Exosomes
- Biogenesis and Intercellular Communication
- Isolation, Purification and Characterisation
- Understanding the composition of Exosomes
- Diagnostic Therapeutic Applications
